
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Megan for four years now & when I became aware that she completed her personal training certification I knew I wanted to work with her. I had been dealing with health issues (long-covid specific) for a couple of years & so getting back into a fitness routine after being cleared to do so has been a challenge & quite daunting.
I recently completed Megan’s in-person 30-day Kickstart Home Gym program, utilizing dumbbell-only workouts & it has been such a wonderful experience. She has been the motivator that I’ve needed to push me to do the hard things. I’m feeling strong, capable & ready to continue the routine that we’ve started together, as well as confident in my ability to do the workouts she’s taught me on my own.
Megan is a huge light to work with & while she’ll push you to do the hard things, the uplifting conversations will motivate you to keep going. Megan has absolutely made such a positive impact on me over the 8-sessions I’ve had with her. One of the best humans in Squamish.

As a busy working, mother of three, coming back from a fracture, I reached out to Megan to help me regain my strength, and improve my self confidence, and energy. I joined Mountain Fitness Center to train with Megan, and my goal was to learn some foundational exercises, and to get familiar with the equipment in the gym so I could later go on my own. I had done group classes in the past, and was nervous to work out in a gym alone, so working with Megan for her Kickstart program gave me the confidence to fly. I started working with Megan a month ago. It’s my first time working with a personal trainer and I was a bit nervous and skeptical, not sure if I would enjoy the process. But Megan has been awesome! She has a great energy, is very compassionate and understanding of my limitations – and at the same time has pushed and motivated me to be my best self and get strong! She has been super flexible in finding the best setup for me, and very generous with her knowledge – every time we meet she wants to make sure I’m learning. different ways of working certain muscles, how to use different machines, etc, so that I’m able to workout by myself when I’m not meeting her. As a busy, often overwhelmed mom of two, getting strong and feeling energized for my children is a non-negotiable for me. I first approached Megan when I found myself going in circles with my fitness routine and not seeing results, AND when I wanted to level up my mental health. After she quickly responded, I met with her for an in-person consultation. It was an immense pleasure to train with Megan. When I started with Megan, I aimed to improve the training volume by going from 3x to 5x a week, focusing on accessory work and definition. After years of pouring everything I had into my 2 littles and a very demanding career in law, I made the mental shift in September 2024 to take charge of my life again, and prioritize my own health. I wasn’t sure what path I should take to accomplish just that, but saw a local FB post from Megan offering strength training for busy moms just like me. I jumped on the opportunity to start working with Megan in the comfort of her beautiful home gym. Her LEAD System completely changed my perspective on health and wellness and pulled me out of the “all or nothing” cycle. With Megan’s guidance and cheerleading (she is truly a ray of sunshine even on the darkest of days) and just consistently showing up for myself week after week, I lost over 20 pounds and too many inches to count, and have gained so much strength (chin ups are actually fun!). I did Megan’s six-week coaching program and it was exactly what I needed. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and knew how to meet me where I was at—both physically and mentally. On our coaching calls, she was so encouraging and supportive, and working with her in person was just as amazing. I have been following Megan for a while on social media and came across one of her coaching ads this summer and decided to go for it. As an avid runner, I wasn’t necessarily starting off from a bad place but set a goal earlier in the year to prioritize health and make this my best workout year ever by incorporating weights and all the equipment in the gym, which I usually avoid. I wanted to increase bone density, learn how to lift to build muscles and work with someone that I can relate to. I found that person in Megan. It’s an hour drive to see her but I’m SO thankful for her coaching me in person whenever our schedules align. Within only a few months I feel like I have come a long way compared to what I used to be able to do in a classic gym setting. I also appreciate her guidance in regards to nutrition and general health. It also helps that Megan is just a really fun, kind and motivating person to hang out with 🙂 Basically, the type of personal trainer anyone would want.
